Coach Clothing: Inside the Ready-to-Wear Line
Handbags still anchor Coach, a brand that got its start in 1941 as a family-run leather workshop in New York making men’s small leather goods. Clothing is offered alongside the bags, and the runway collections show how extensive that range is. In 2026, Stuart Vevers remains Creative Director; his appointment was announced in June 2013. Staged on 11 February 2026 at the Cunard Building in New York, his Fall 2026 collection offers the best recent view of what coach clothing covers. Taking in turn the categories in that show, this survey also covers the garment names that have appeared in Coach’s own online listings. Where the evidence is patchy, especially on prices, it says so rather than filling the gap with guesses. Pitched as accessible luxury, Coach offers clothing in that tier, without competing directly with the priciest luxury houses.
How Clothing Fits into the Coach Brand
Between Tapestry’s two brands, Coach is much the bigger, having recorded net sales of $6,914.7 million in the fiscal year ended 27 June 2026. No clothing estimate is attempted, as clothing’s share of that total was not found. Handbags remain the headline, and Tapestry reported that Coach’s average handbag price rose at a mid-teens percentage rate during the year. Following the sale of Stuart Weitzman to Caleres in a deal that closed on 4 August 2025, Tapestry holds only Coach and Kate Spade in 2026. Its intended acquisition of Capri Holdings was never completed and was terminated on 14 November 2024. The group therefore relies at its core on Coach’s bags, clothing and shoes. On the runway, the clothing is presented alongside each new coach bag by the same creative team that shapes it.
Outerwear
Coach’s own release for the collection puts outerwear at the front of the clothing in the Fall 2026 show. The show included peacoats alongside shearling coats and suede coats, with varsity jackets as a separate group. Leather jackets and trench coats are also noted in reports as part of the wider category. The online listings on Coach’s own site carry coach coat and jacket names such as the Classic Shearling Coat, the Fluffy Shearling Coat and the Aviator Shearling Jacket. Bonnie Cashin, Coach’s first lead designer from the early 1960s until 1974, is honoured in the Classic Cashin Coat, making the heritage connection explicit. Another name seen in listings is a Bonnie Cashin Framework Coat. With that archive connection, outerwear is the logical first stop for any survey of the range.
Shearling
Shearling appears across several outerwear shapes rather than a single coat. Shearling coats are listed in Coach’s Fall 2026 release, and the brand’s listings add a Shearling Cardigan Jacket to the list, alongside the coats already named. A Denim Jacket With Shearling Collar shows the material used as a trim as well as a full garment. Shearling is not shown in isolation: the same show teamed it with suede coats and peacoats, placing it within a wider coat offer. While these names are taken from Coach’s own product listings, current availability in each country could not be confirmed. Prices for 2026 shearling coats were not captured, so no figure is quoted here. When budgeting, look up the live price in your own market and do not rely on older listings.
The Varsity Jackets
The Fall 2026 collection treats varsity jackets as one of its clearest themes. Both in leather and in leather mixed with wool, Coach offered them at the show. The same show debuted what Coach described as its first all-shearling varsity jacket. A Shearling Varsity Jacket also features among the names in Coach’s online listings. Varsity-stripe long-sleeve tees extend the varsity idea into jersey pieces. A second and more casual take on the theme came from repurposed vintage jerseys, which appeared as well in the show. Current varsity jacket prices were not captured for this survey, just as with the coats.
Eveningwear and Tailoring
Coach clothing goes beyond casual jackets and knits. For the Fall 2026 collection, Coach presented blazers, flared trousers and A-line skirts. It also included floor-length dresses with high collars, a more formal note than the outerwear alone might suggest. The wider range sold online is also reported to include shirting and dresses. Since no product names for these tailored pieces were captured, none appear here. As the availability of runway tailoring in stores and online could not be confirmed, check your local market before basing an outfit on it. Clearly, the runway goes well beyond outerwear and accessories, as the category demonstrates.
Knitwear and Jersey
Knitwear in the Fall 2026 show was styled as all-gender. Eagle motifs, Fair Isle patterns and quilting motifs decorated jacquard knits. Varsity-stripe long-sleeve tees connected the knitwear to the jackets. At the everyday end, the wider range reportedly includes hoodies, sweatshirts and tees. Quilting is used on bags as well, among them Tabby styles with pillow quilting, which makes the motif familiar across the brand. For precise styles, shoppers should look through current listings, since no individual knitwear names or prices were captured. The relaxed end of the collection is therefore occupied by knitwear and tees.

Repurposed Pieces and Denim
Denim trousers were part of the Fall 2026 collection. Denim also features in outerwear through the Denim Jacket With Shearling Collar seen in Coach’s listings. An element of reuse was provided by repurposed vintage jerseys in the show. That fits a wider pattern at Coach, which runs Coach (Re)Loved for restoring, reworking and reselling its bags, and the Coachtopia sub-brand for circular design. The documented examples from those programmes are mostly bags, so the jerseys are distinctive as a clothing example of the same idea. Check product details against current listings, and note that denim prices were not captured. Denim, put another way, turns up both as a basic and as a trim on outerwear.
Shoes Shown With the Clothes
Shoes are a separate category, but they finish the runway looks. The Fall 2026 show featured the Skate Sneaker, a laceless style offered in low and high tops in suede and canvas. About ten new non-sneaker styles were reportedly pitched at between $155 and $295, based on coverage of Fall 2026 footwear. Among the reported examples are the Leah Loafer and the Archival Buckle Clog. Coach’s website has carried earlier sneaker names such as the C201 and C203, but their current-season status could not be confirmed. An official list of prices is not where those shoe prices come from; they are reported market figures. For a complete outfit, check shoe and clothing availability separately.
How to Buy Coach Ready-to-Wear
The table below summarises what each category covers and how strong the evidence is. Coach’s own website or a full-price coach store is the place to start for the current collection. Approach outlet clothing as a separate search, as there was no confirmation of whether ready-to-wear appears at coach outlet locations, and in what depth. Department store stock changes by retailer, so check before visiting with a particular piece in mind. Because 2026 clothing prices were not recorded, compare the live price rather than an old listing. Because weight and finish are easier to judge in person, shearling and leather pieces reward a store visit. Finally, keep in mind that runway pieces shown in February are not guaranteed to reach every market.
